details....... This is an out-of-town trip, a beautiful 2-hour drive just through Helen and Hiawassee,, to the North Georgia Mountains. After lunch we can visit the antiques mall in Hiawassee, then head back around 3:00 to be home by 5:00. Visit their website.

We are trying a longer excursion for October.  The plans are to ride the Blue Ridge scenic railway.  The leaves should be at their peak! The train leaves Blue Ridge at 11:00 and after a stop in McCaysville returns at 2:30.  We would need to leave Atlanta by 8:45 and would probably get back around four.  Tickets are $30 and need to be purchased ahead of time because the excursions sell out early. Mary will make reservations on September 12th and will need your confirmation and check by then.  If we do not have at least four ladies who can attend we will schedule a different event for this date. All Aboard!

Wed. Nov. 2 - Hostess, Deloras
AMC Movie theater (North Point) to see Legends of Zorro , then to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert. Meet at pool parking lot by 12:40 if you want to carpool, otherwise meet in the theater lobby at 12:50 so we can all go in at once and sit together.
